Image Morphing

based on Line Pairs

Date: Dec.2017 – Jan.2018

Platform: Qt Creator

A image morphing system based on line pairs is developed with Qt, a cross-platform application framework. It allows users to intuitively control the morphing with line pairs. And by interactively specifying the characteristics of the image, users can easily achieve the desired visual effect.

Image morphing based on line pairs was proposed by Beier and Neely from Pacific Data Images Corporation. The method is based on reverse mapping: pixels of the target image are scanned one by one, and the source image is sampled according to its position, so that each pixel in the target image can find a corresponding value in the original image.
